List of fossil fuel power plants in the European Union with the highest carbon dioxide emissions

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The list contains the 30 fossil fuel -powered thermal power plants in the European Union (EU) and has emerged from the EU in 2020 the UK with the highest emissions of carbon dioxide . For most power plants on this list is coal power plants (both brown and black coal as fuel). The list also includes a power plant that uses oil shale as fuel.

The data come from a study published in 2014, which lists the 30 most emitting power plants in the European Union. The basis of the survey is the data from European emissions trading .
