Liu Henan ( Chinese  刘 和南 , Pinyin Liú Hénán ; born November 30, 1976 ) is a former Chinese ice hockey player who last played until 2009 with the China Sharks in the Asia League Ice Hockey .

Career

Liu Henan began his career with the team from Qiqihar , with which he became Chinese national champions in 2000, 2001 and 2004. From 2004 he played with the team that called itself Changchun Fu'ao in the 2006/07 season in the Asia League Ice Hockey . After the team merged with the Hosa team in 2007 , he played for the fusion product China Sharks , where he ended his career in 2009. In his last season with the Sharks he was their player-coach.

International

Liu Henan first played for China at the C-World Championships in 1997 , 1999 and 2000 . After switching to the current division system, he was part of the team from the Middle Kingdom at the World Championships in Division I in 2001 , 2002 , 2005 and 2007 . In 2003 , 2004 , 2008 and 2009 he played in Division II.
