Liviu Croitoru (born May 25, 1987 ) is a Moldovan summer biathlete in the cross-country style .

Liviu Croitoru achieved a first good international placement at the IBU Summer Cup 2009 . In Predajná he finished third in a sprint behind Miroslav Matiaško and Luboš Schorný and thus achieved his first international podium result. The Moldovan played his first major event at the 2009 Summer Biathlon European Championships in Nové Město na Moravě . He finished the sprint race as 38th and last, which means he missed qualification for the mass start race. In the mixed relay race he was on the side of Alexandra Camenșcic , Iuliana Tcaciova and Sergiu Balan eleventh. This was followed by participation in the 2009 Summer Biathlon World Championships in Oberhof , where Croitoru was 45th in the sprint and 36th in the pursuit. The Summer Biathlon European Championships 2010 in Osrblie brought the ranks 26 in the sprint, 22 in the pursuit and with Camenșcic, Dimitria Ciobanu and Victor Pînzaru ranked ninth in the mixed relay as results.
