Lohrmannshof is a district of the community Schernfeld in the Upper Bavarian district of Eichstätt .

The wasteland is about 10 km northwest of the district town of Eichstätt on federal highway 13 .

history

The name of the estate can be traced back to the first owner Wilhelm Christoph Lohrmann, who built the farm around 1818. Due to the unfavorable soil conditions and the associated uncertain earnings situation, the owners of the farm have demonstrably changed nine times. It has been in the 3rd generation of the Linke family since 1926, and in 1956 they still employed 25 people on their farm.

Until the regional reform in Bavaria , Lohrmannshof was part of the Workerszell community together with the districts Rupertsbuch, Langensallach, Sperberslohe, Petershöhe and Geländer . In 1978 it was incorporated into the large community of Schernfeld.
