Lorenz Harth

Lorenz Harth (born February 9, 1913 in Mannheim ; † June 22, 2002 in Glan-Münchweiler ) was a German politician ( NPD ). From 1967 to 1971 he was a member of the state parliament of Rhineland-Palatinate .

Life

After attending elementary school, Harth went to the upper secondary school in Ludwigshafen from 1923 , where he passed the Abitur in 1932. He then took up studies in law and economics at the universities of Heidelberg and Graz , which he completed in 1936 with a degree in business administration. During his studies he was a member of the SA and the National Socialist German Student Union (NSDStB) from 1933 to 1936 . He joined the NSDAP in 1937 and in the same year became an economic advisor at the SD in Neustadt an der Weinstrasse. From 1937 to 1938 he was an assistant at the Institute of Economics at the University of Heidelberg, where he in 1938 with the dissertation topic production and operational problems of the footwear industry in the employment office district Pirmasens to Dr. rer. pole. received his doctorate . From 1939 to 1940 he worked at Vereinigte Stahlwerke AG in Düsseldorf , where he acted as deputy head of the main statistics / market observation department. From 1940 to 1945 he took part in the Second World War as a soldier , most recently as a lieutenant.

From 1949 to 1951, Harth worked as a specialist teacher at a business school. From 1951 to 1953 he was employed by the Badische Bank in Mannheim, where he was most recently head of the foreign department. After an internship at the Allensbach Institute for Demoscopy , he worked in a managerial role at various industrial companies in Grünstadt , Siegburg , Düsseldorf and Kaiserslautern from 1954 to 1966 .

Harth joined the NPD in 1964. In the state elections in 1967 he was elected as a member of the state parliament of Rhineland-Palatinate, to which he was a member until 1971.
