Lotus Air was a private Egyptian charter airline based in Cairo .

history

Lotus Air was founded in 1997 by Al-Fawares Holding Company and began flight operations a year later. It was one of the first private airlines in North Africa and the Middle East as well as the first Egyptian airline to meet the guidelines of EASA and IOSA certifications. In 2011 it ceased operations.

Destinations

Lotus Air operated mainly charter flights from Egypt to European destinations. In addition, the aircraft including personnel and other services were leased .
