Lou Taylor Pucci (born July 27, 1985 in Seaside Heights , New Jersey ) is an American actor .

Pucci is the son of former Miss Union County Linda (Farver) Pucci and guitarist Lou Pucci.

Career

He took his first steps in acting at the age of ten with the play Oliver in his hometown. Just two years later he could be seen on Broadway in The Sound of Music . Pucci had his first small film role in the award-winning independent film Personal Velocity: Three Portraits (2002), in which he played alongside Kyra Sedgwick . For his first leading role in the 2005 movie Thumbsucker , Pucci received several awards. He received the Silver Bear at the Berlinale 2005 and the special jury award at the Sundance Film Festival 2005.

In the music video Jesus of Suburbia by the punk group Green Day , Pucci plays the leading role in Jesus of Suburbia as Saint Jimmy.

In 2009 he played one of the leading roles in the horror thrillers Horsemen and Carriers . In February 2012 he got the role of Eric in the remake Evil Dead .

In 2018, Pucci played the supporting role of Benji Ashby in the series You - You Will Love Me .
