Louis-Eugène-Arsène Turquetil OMI (born June 3, 1876 in Reviers , France , † June 14, 1955 ) was a French religious and Roman Catholic Vicar Apostolic of Baie d'Hudson .

Life

Louis-Eugène-Arsène Turquetil joined the Congregation of the Oblates of Mary Immaculate in and received on 23 December 1899, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

Pope Pius XI appointed him on July 15, 1925 as the first Apostolic Prefect of Baie d'Hudson. On December 15, 1931 Pius XI appointed him. the titular bishop of Ptolemais in Phenicia and Vicar Apostolic of Baie d'Hudson. The Coadjutor Archbishop of Montréal , Georges Gauthier , donated him episcopal ordination on February 23, 1932 ; Co- consecrators were the Vicar Apostolic of Mackenzie , Gabriel Breynat OMI, and the Vicar Apostolic of Keewatin , Ovid Charlebois OMI.

Louis-Eugène-Arsène Turquetil resigned on December 18, 1942 as Vicar Apostolic of Baie d'Hudson.
