Louisa-Christin Lippmann (born September 23, 1994 in Herford ) is a German volleyball player .

Career

Club career

Louisa Lippmann played in her youth with TG Herford and Telekom Post SV Bielefeld . In 2010 she came to the volleyball boarding school of the USC Münster , where she initially played in the junior team in the second Bundesliga north . The attacker, who can be used in the diagonal and outer position, has been in the Bundesliga squad since 2012 . In 2014 Lippmann moved to the German master Dresdner SC , with whom she also defended the championship title. After winning the championship and cup double in 2016, Lippmann switched to league rivals SSC Palmberg Schwerin . Lippmann was also the German champion with the Schwerin women and became the most valuable player in the Bundesliga in 2016/17. In December 2017 she was voted Germany's volleyball player of the year . In 2018 she was again voted the most valuable player in the volleyball Bundesliga. In the 2018/19 season, Lippmann played in the Italian A series at Il Bisonte Firenze . She then moved to Shanghai Bright Ubest in China. In 2019, Lippmann was also voted volleyball player of the year. After the end of the season in China, Lippmann returned to SSC Palmberg Schwerin at the end of January 2020 .

National team

In 2012 Louisa Lippmann finished fifth at the U19 European Championship with the German national youth team. In 2013 she also trained with the senior national team , but had to postpone her international debut due to a shoulder injury. In 2014 she made her first appearance in the 1: 3 against the USA and won the tournament in Montreux with Germany . In the same year she reached the final of the European league with the national team and was ninth at the World Cup . At the 2018 World Cup in Japan , she finished eleventh. In January 2020 she lost to the German team in the final of the Olympic qualification .

beach volleyball

Louisa Lippmann will play with Isabel Schneider at the qualifying tournament for the German beach volleyball championship 2020 from July 17th to 19th in Düsseldorf . As a replacement for her injured partner Victoria Bieneck , she will be playing in the sand for the first time.
