Victoria Bieneck (born March 26, 1991 in Weilheim in Upper Bavaria ) is a German volleyball and beach volleyball player .
Career hall
Victoria Bieneck grew up in Schweinsberg (Stadtallendorf) in Hesse and from 2000 played volleyball in the hall at TV Wetter . In 2006 she joined the junior team at VC Olympia Berlin , where she played in the 1st Bundesliga from 2007 . With the national team she won the U18 European Championship in 2007. In 2009 Victoria Bieneck switched to league rivals Köpenicker SC . The outside attacker was active here until 2011, when she then concentrated on beach volleyball.
Career Beach
Victoria Bieneck played in the sand from 2004 to 2006 with her sister Felicitas at national tournaments, especially at youth championships. She started nationally and internationally with Marika Steinhauff from 2007 to 2010 and won the bronze medal with her at the Student World Championships in Alanya in 2010 . With Laura Weihenmaier , Victoria Bieneck became U18 Vice European Champion in 2008 in Loutraki, Greece . With Christine Aulenbrock , she won the U19 World Championship in Alanya in 2009 and the bronze medal at the U23 European Championship in Assen, the Netherlands, in 2012 . At the side of Chantal Laboreur she finished fourth at the U21 World Cup in Alanya in 2010.
Victoria Bieneck played with Julia Großner from 2011 to 2016 and won the Smart Supercups in Münster and Frankfurt with her in 2012. At the German championship in 2012 , Bieneck / Großner took seventh place. In the first tournament in 2013, the duo Bieneck / Großner took fourth place at the CEV Satellite tournament in Antalya (Turkey). Together with Isabel Schneider she became U23 world champion in Poland. At the World Championships in Stare Jabłonki , Bieneck / Großner reached the main round, where they were eliminated against the Italians Cicolari / Menegatti . At the German championship in 2013 , Bieneck / Großner took fifth place. In 2014, Bieneck / Großner achieved their first victory on the FIVB World Tour at the Anapa Open in Russia . They finished fourth at the European and German championships in 2014. In 2015 and 2016, Bieneck / Großner got numerous top ten placements on the FIVB World Tour as well as fifth place at the German championships.
Victoria Bieneck and Isabel Schneider have been forming a new German national team since 2017 . You train at the federal base in Hamburg and mainly compete on the FIVB World Tour . Here they came third in Xiamen (3-star), fourth in Moscow (3-star) and ninth in Poreč in Gstaad (both 5-stars). At the World Championships in Vienna , Bieneck / Schneider reached the lucky loser round in third place, in which they were eliminated against the Chinese Xue / Wang . At the European Championships in Jūrmala , Bieneck / Schneider reached the first main round as second in the group, in which they were subject to the later European champions Glenzke / Grossner and finished 17th. They finished fourth in the German championship . Without exception, Bieneck / Schneider had top ten placements on the 2018 World Tour , with two fourth places in Fort Lauderdale and Ostrava standing out. At the European Championships in the Netherlands , they finished fifth. At the beginning of September, Bieneck / Schneider became German champions in Timmendorfer Strand . Also on the World Tour 2019 they finished ninth in Sydney and fifth in Kuala Lumpur (3 stars each) and ninth in Tokyo (4 stars). At the world championship in Hamburg they reached the first knockout round and took 17th place. At the German championship in 2019 they had to admit defeat to the later winners Borger / Sude in the quarter-finals . They then achieved another top ten result in ninth place at the FIVB 4-star tournament in Rome.
Private
Victoria Bieneck's sisters Felicitas and Constanze also play volleyball and beach volleyball.
