Louvenne is a town and commune Déléguée in the French municipality of Val Suran with 120 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the Jura department in the region of Bourgogne Franche-Comté .

The municipality of Louvenne merged with Bourcia , Saint-Julien and Villechantria to form the new municipality of Val Suran on January 1, 2017 . It belonged to the arrondissement of Lons-le-Saunier and the canton of Saint-Amour .

geography

Coming from Gigny and to Saint-Julien, the Suran River runs through the southwest of the former municipal marker. The other neighboring communities were Monnetay , Montrevel and Andelot-Morval .
