Bourcia is a town and commune Déléguée in the French municipality of Val Suran with 119 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the Jura department in the region of Bourgogne Franche-Comté .
On January 1, 2017, the municipality of Bourcia merged with Louvenne , Saint-Julien and Villechantria to form the new municipality of Val Suran. It belonged to the arrondissement of Lons-le-Saunier and the canton of Saint-Amour .

The highest point of the municipality was on the east side of the municipality marker at 770 m in the area of the Signal de Nivigne massif . The neighboring communities were La Balme-d'Épy in the north, Villechantria , Broissia and Montfleur in the northeast, Pouillat in the east and southeast, Chavannes-sur-Suran in the south, Treffort-Cuisiat in the southwest, Courmangoux and Val-Revermont with Pressiat in the west as well Val d'Épy and Salavre to the northwest.
