Luís Miguel Muñoz Cárdaba
Luís Miguel Muñoz Cárdaba (born August 25, 1965 in Vallelado , Segovia Province , Spain ) is a Spanish clergyman , archbishop and diplomat of the Holy See .
Life
Luís Miguel Muñoz Cárdaba was ordained a priest for the Archdiocese of Toledo on June 28, 1992 .
After further studies, he obtained degrees in canonical and civil law. On April 1, 2001 he entered the diplomatic service of the Holy See and in the following years worked in the nunciatures in Greece, Mexico, Belgium, Italy, Australia, France and Turkey.
On March 31, 2020, Pope Francis appointed him Titular Archbishop pro hac vice of Nasai and Apostolic Nuncio in Sudan and Eritrea . Cardinal Secretary of State Pietro Parolin donated him episcopal ordination on July 25th of the same year . Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of Toledo, Francisco Cerro Chaves , and Archbishop Paul Gallagher .
