The Luční potok is a left tributary of the Radbuza in the Czech Republic .

The Luční potok rises in the Pilsen hill country in a pond on the village square of Přehýšov . On its upper course to the east, the stream flows through Přehýšov and to the south past the DIOSS Nýřany as plant. At Větrná Jáma, the Luční potok, southeast of Nýřany, reaches the area of the former Jankov pond, where water from the Vejprnický potok is fed to it via the ever moat . To the south of the Mexico settlement, the Plzeň – Furth railway bridges the stream in the forest . Its further course leads in a wide and flat valley through the Pilsen coal basin past Úherce and Zbůch in a north-easterly direction to Líně ; on this section the Luční potok is dammed in the ponds Nový rybník and Okružinka. At Sulkov, the D 5 / E 50 motorway bridges the stream between Pilsen and Rozvadov . At its east in the urban area of Plzen leading underflow of Luční forms brook between Sulkov, the Skoda-landfill , Lesov and Valcha a V-shaped valley , in which previously the ponds Sulkow ( Sulkovsky rybník ) and Radschiner pond ( Lažikov ) were. Shortly before its mouth, the Železná Ruda – Plzeň railway crosses the stream. After 15 kilometers, the Luční potok flows into the Radbuza south of the Plzeň-Valcha station in Valcha in the České Údolí reservoir . Its catchment area is 69.8 km².
The wetland around the Nový rybník has been protected as a nature reserve since 2006. There is a black-headed gull colony with around 100 birds by the pond . In addition, there nest Black-necked Grebe , Little Grebe , teals , marsh harrier , water rail , reed warbler and Weißsternige Blaukehlchen . There is an observation tower on the edge of the protected area.

In the 19th and 20th centuries there was intensive coal mining in the valley of the brook. The Sulkower Montanbahn ran along the Luční potok.
Southwest of Nýřany was the largest pond in the region with an area of 130 hectares, the Jankow, until 1872. Both the Luční potok and the Vejprnický potok flowed in and out of the pond . The main drainage channel led into the Luční potok at Úherce . After the manor Chotěšov intended to drain the fish pond in 1870, the municipality of Úherce asserted its rights to the Vejprnický potok. When the water rights process was decided in favor of Úherce in 1880, the Immerwasserkanal to Luční potok was built in the pond in 1884, into which two thirds of the water from Vejprnický potok was diverted via a water divider.
The Radschiner pond in the valley between the Ochsenberg and Eichenberg was drained in 1851 and the Valcha settlement, named after a fulling mill below the dam, was built along its banks .
In 1868 the Sulkow pond was also drained. In place of the pond there is now the Škoda plant landfill .
During the 20th century, the stream was heavily regulated and straightened. The Luční potok was displaced to the south by the Škoda landfill.
