Luc Ex
Luc Ex (* 1958 ), actually Luc Klaasen , is a Dutch bass player ( bass guitar , double bass ).
Luc Ex was a member of the Dutch anarcho-punk band The Ex from 1983 to 2002 (album Aural Guerrilla , 1988). In 1996 he and Tom Cora started the improvisation ensemble Roof with Phil Minton and Michael Vatcher , from which after Cora's death 4Walls with Vatcher, Minton and Veryan Weston (and NoWalls in 2007 ) developed. In 2004 he founded Fables with singer Mola Sylla , Xavier Charles, Andy Moore and Michael Vatcher . He also played in the Regenorchester XII (with Franz Hautzinger , Otomo Yoshihide , Tony Buck ) and in the formation Sol6 (with Hannah Marshall , Ingrid Laubrock ) and from 2006 in the Trio Speeq with Hasse Poulsen and Mark Sanders . In 2006 he performed with Franz Hautzinger Regenorchester XII at the SWR2 NEWJazz Meeting . He also took part in recordings of Sonic Youth ( In the Fishtank , 2002) and belongs to Rubatong with Han Buhrs . With Ab Baars , Hamid Drake and Ingrid Laubrock he forms Luc Ex 'Assemblée .
