Lucas Rios Marques (born March 26, 1988 in Passos , Minas Gerais ) is a Brazilian soccer player . The right foot runs alternatively as a right defender or as a central defender .
Career
Marques started his career at Figueirense FC . In 2007 he made the leap into the professional squad here. On May 20, 2007 he played his first game as a professional in the A series . In the home game against the Palmeiras São Paulo , he was substituted on after half-time. This was initially his only game. It wasn't until 2009, now in Serie B , that the player was used, but now regularly. He scored his first professional goal in the national championship of Santa Catarina on May 9, 2009 against Ipatinga FC .
In 2011 Marques moved to the Botafogo FR in Rio de Janeiro . Here he was able to establish himself immediately and played his first game at international club level here. On August 24, 2011, he played in the 2011 Copa Sudamericana against Atlético Mineiro . From 2015 Marques was under contract with Palmeiras São Paulo . He played regularly for the club at the beginning of the year, but was loaned to other clubs after the São Paulo state championship . For 2018 he came to EC Vitória and for the 2019 season to Botafogo FC (SP) .
After his contract expired at the end of 2019, Marques moved to Figueirense , where he began his professional career in 2007.
