season 1
The first season aired on the El Rey Network from October 29, 2014 to August 5, 2015. The broadcast was offset by three days on the Spanish-language broadcaster UniMás . All fights were recorded several months beforehand in front of a live audience in a warehouse in Boyle Heights , Los Angeles , California . There were also some tryouts that were not broadcast. Moderators were Matt Striker and Vampiro for the English-speaking audience and Hugo Savinovich and Vampiro for the Spanish-speaking audience. At the big event Ultima Lucha, where Vampiro wrestled himself, Michael Schiavello took over his part.
