Ludwig Franz von Krosigk

Ludwig Franz von Krosigk (born January 28, 1781 in Poplitz , †  June 22, 1821 in Breslau ) was a Prussian major .

Life

Ludwig (Louis) Franz von Krosigk came from the noble family Krosigk . He was a son of Ferdinand Anton von Krosigk (1743-1805) and his wife Dorothea Luise, née von Cramm (born June 12, 1753 in Sambleben , † May 23, 1824 in Poplitz ). Krosigk's brothers included Dedo , Heinrich , Ernst , Friedrich and Anton Emil von Krosigk .

Krosigk married in Groß Lauth , East Prussia , on August 7, 1811 Bertha, born von Brederlow (born May 6, 1794 in Groß Lauth; † February 6, 1828 in Berlin ). From this marriage the children Theophila (1812–1874), Hermann (1815–1868), Eduard (1816–1871), Rudolf (1817–1874) and Ernst (1820–1820) emerged. Krosigk was the commander of the 1st  Battalion in the 2nd Silesian Infantry Regiment . He died in Breslau in 1821, at the age of 41, of the consequences of an injury he received in the battle of Montmirail in 1814 .
