Newskoje ( Russian Невское , German United Lauth and Fabian field ) is the common name of two originally independent places Russian Kaliningrad Oblast (region Königsberg (Prussia) ) used to Gvardeyskoye selskoje posselenije (Town Gvardeyskoye (Mulhouse) ) in Bagrationovsky District (District Prussian Eylau ) belong.

Geographical location

The formerly called Groß Lauth part of Newskoje is located on the north bank of the Frisching (Russian: Prochladnaja), 23 kilometers southeast of Kaliningrad (Königsberg) and 16 kilometers north of Bagrationovsk (Prussian Eylau) on the Russian trunk road A 195 (former German Reichsstrasse 128 ). From here a side road branches off in a south-westerly direction, which leads via Moskowskoje (Schrombhnen) to Krasnosnamenskoje (Dollstädt) . - The part once called Fabiansfelde is 1 kilometer further south on the south bank of the Frisching.

The next train station is Strelnja-Nowaja (until 1945 the station was called Schrombehnen ) on the former East Prussian Southern Railway , now only in the section from Kaliningrad to Bagrationovsk.

Newskoje / Groß Lauth (until 1945)

The former Groß Lauth (1379 still Lavtin ) called Gutsdorf was the eponymous place of the newly established district Groß Lauth between 1874 and 1930 . He belonged to the district of Preußisch Eylau in the administrative district of Königsberg in the Prussian province of East Prussia . In 1910 there were 192 inhabitants in Groß Lauth.

On September 30, 1928 the manor district Groß Lauth was incorporated into the rural community Lawdt and on June 1, 1934 the rural community Lawdt was renamed "Groß Lauth". In 1933 Lawdt still had 398 inhabitants, in 1939 there were already 614 inhabitants registered in the newly named Groß Lauth. From 1930 to 1945, Groß Lauth belonged to the Schrombehnen district (Russian: Moskowskoje).

Groß Lauth district (1874–1930)

On May 7, 1874, the Groß Lauth district was established in the Preußisch Eylau district. Initially, five rural communities and three manor districts were incorporated:

In 1930, the rural community Schrombehnen (Russian: Moskowskoje), previously a separate administrative district, was incorporated into the administrative district of Groß Lauth. The district of Groß Lauth was dissolved a little later and incorporated into the district of Schrombehnen.

Newskoje / Fabiansfelde (until 1945)

The small Gutsort Fabiansfelde had 90 inhabitants in 1910. The village was incorporated into the Groß Lauth district (from 1930 Schrombehnen district ) until 1945 , until it lost its independence and merged with the rural communities of Moddien and Wöterkeim (both in Russian: Nekrassowo) to form the new rural community of Wöterkeim.

Nevskoje (from 1945)

In the wake of the Second World War , Groß Lauth and Fabiansfelde came to the Soviet Union with the area of ​​northern East Prussia . In 1946, both places were given the common name "Nevskoje". By 2009, both districts were incorporated into the Gwardeiski soviet n (Dorfsowjet Gwardeiskoje (Mühlhausen) ). Since then, Newskoje has been classified as a "settlement" (Russian: possjolok) due to structural and administrative reform within the Gwardeiskoje selskoje posselenije (rural community Gwardeiskoje) in Bagrationovsk district .

Lawdt or Groß Lauth and Fabiansfelde were parish in the parish of Jesau (today in Russian: Juschny) due to their predominantly Protestant population . It belonged to the church district Preußisch Eylau (today Russian: Bagrationowsk) within the church province of East Prussia of the Church of the Old Prussian Union .

Today Newskoje lies in the catchment area of ​​the newly formed evangelical village church in Gwardeiskoje (Mühlhausen) . It is a subsidiary of the Church of the Resurrection in Kaliningrad (Königsberg) within the Kaliningrad provost of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of European Russia (ELKER).
