Ludwig Georg von Oertzen

Ludwig Georg von Oertzen , with the addition of the ownership name also von Oertzen-Woltow (born February 11, 1804 in Schwerin , † September 27, 1879 in Woltow ) was landowner and district administrator in Mecklenburg and a member of the Reichstag of the North German Confederation .

Life

Ludwig Georg von Oertzen (no. 330 of the gender census ) came from the so-called "Haus Gorow" of his extensive family. He was born in Schwerin as the third son of the then government councilor and later President of the Court of Appeal Friedrich von Oertzen in his first marriage to Charlotte Ernestine, née. Born in Mecklenburg from the House of Boldebuck. The later Minister of State of Mecklenburg-Schwerin Jasper von Oertzen was his brother.

Ludwig Georg von Oertzen married Adelheid Ernestine von Burgsdorff in 1837 . He inherited half of the Burgsdorff family property in Podelzig , which he had to sell in 1841. From 1861 to 1879, Oertzen was the Grand Ducal Mecklenburg District Administrator. He lived and died on Woltow and was buried in the Basse cemetery.

In 1867 he was a member of the constituent Reichstag of the North German Confederation for the constituency of Mecklenburg-Schwerin 3 ( chamber goods and knightly goods ).
