Luis Alberto Parra Mora (born March 22, 1944 in Tenza ) is a Colombian clergyman and emeritus Roman Catholic Bishop of Mocoa-Sibundoy .

Life

Luis Alberto Parra Mora was ordained a priest on October 9, 1971 .

Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Mocoa-Sibundoy on October 18, 2003 . He was ordained bishop by the Apostolic Nuncio in Colombia , Beniamino Stella , on December 11 of the same year; Co- consecrators were Misael Vacca Ramírez , Bishop of Yopal , and Olavio López Duque OAR , Emeritus Vicar Apostolic of Casanare . As a motto he chose Id y Evangelizad . The inauguration took place on January 16 of the next year.

Pope Francis accepted his early resignation on December 1, 2014.
