Lukas Holliger

Lukas Holliger (born August 21, 1971 in Basel ) is a Swiss playwright , dramaturge and editor .

Life

Holliger grew up in Basel , where he sang at the Knabenkantorei Basel in his youth . After graduation in 1991 he studied at the University of Basel German , History of Art and History .

From 1993 to 1995 he made internships as a director at the Basel Theater . From 1999 to 2003 he was co-director of “raum33” in Basel, co-founded by director Werner Düggelin , and there, together with directors Monika Neun and Ursina Greuel, co-founder and director of the award-winning world premiere series “Anti-Drawer”. From 1999 to 2008 he was co-director of the authors' workshop at Theater Basel. 2000/2001 scholarship at the drama processor of the Theater an der Winkelwiese , Zurich. 2003 scholarship holder of the Masterclass 6 under the direction of the Austrian author Marlene Streeruwitz . From 2000 to 2005 he was cultural editor at the Swiss television DRS , where he worked with Luc Bondy , Iso Camartin and Michael Schindhelm . From 2004–2012 he was part of the Theatertage Basel “TREIBSTOFF” selection group. Holliger has been editor of the radio play and satire department at Swiss radio and television SRF since 2006 . His plays are published by the Munich theater publisher Korn-Wimmer.
