Lukas Lang (born July 27, 1986 in Brno , Czechoslovakia ) is a former German ice hockey goalkeeper of Czech descent who has worked for EV Duisburg , Adler Mannheim , Grizzly Adams Wolfsburg , Krefeld Pinguine , Düsseldorfer EG and EHC Red Bull Munich was active in the DEL . Lukas is the son of Karel Lang , who was also a goalkeeper in the DEL.

Career

Lukas Lang began playing ice hockey in 1993 at the age of six in Stuttgart . From 2001 to 2003 the goalkeeper was in the squad of the Juniors of EHC 80 Nuremberg . In the 2003/2004 season , Lang finally celebrated his DEL debut for the Eisbären Berlin , to which he switched in the summer of 2003. For the DEL 2004/05 season , the goalie returned to Nuremberg, where he was active as a substitute keeper for the Nuremberg Ice Tigers . In his first year after returning to Franconia , Lang, nicknamed "Luky" by his teammates, also played for the second division club EV Weiden thanks to a sponsorship license . Also in the 2005/2006 season he guarded the goal of the "Blue Devils" in the major league with a funding license . In the 2006/2007 season he plays with the Eisbären Regensburg in the 2nd Bundesliga with a funding license .

For the 2007/08 season Lukas Lang signed an annual contract with EV Duisburg and left the club on April 6, 2009 after the Duisburg bankruptcy , when he was signed by Adler Mannheim .

During the 2011/12 season he was under contract with Grizzly Adams Wolfsburg , before moving to the SERC Wild Wings in the 2nd Bundesliga in June 2012 .

In May 2013 the Krefeld Pinguine announced the engagement of Lukas Lang. In the 2013/14 season he was second goalkeeper behind Tomáš Duba and came to a total of eleven missions. He then did not receive a new contract in Krefeld and then moved to Düsseldorf EG .

From August 2015, Lang was under contract with EHC Red Bull Munich and ended his career in August 2016 due to an injury.
