Amadeus and his son-in-law Gerhard take the dancers Fiffi and Lola to the rag ball in town. With a telegram to himself allegedly sent by lawyer Dr. Wiegand comes from, Amadeus created an excuse for his departure to his wife Pauline.

Unfortunately, Dr. Wiegand at Amadeus' estate after departure, so that the two husbands are convicted of the fraud. The two wives also go to the rag ball to catch their husbands.
