Murderous Triangle (Original Title: Double Jeopardy ) is an American thriller from 1992 .

Jack Hart is married to a lawyer and has one daughter. He has an affair with Lisa Burns Donnelly, whom he has known since college. After Lisa kills her boyfriend in self-defense in the presence of Jack, she is charged with murder.
Jack's wife takes over the defense. Jack is summoned as a witness and faces the dilemma of whether he should exonerate his lover, for which he would have to admit the relationship. Eventually he admits the affair, which leads to the acquittal. Jack then doubts whether Lisa was really acting in self-defense.
