Rotenburg an der Fulda is north of the village. State road 3336 runs through Mündershausen .

history

In 1322 the village was first mentioned as Münderichshusen . Mündershausen was owned by the von Röhrenfurt until 1432 and then until 1822 it belonged to the Riedesel . Other place names were Mengershausen , Meindershausen and Münnershausen .

On December 31, 1971, the previously independent community of Mündershausen was incorporated into the city of Rotenburg an der Fulda.
