Maciej Gostomski (born September 27, 1988 in Kartuzy ) is a Polish football goalkeeper .

Career

Maciej Gostomski played in his youth at Cartusia Kartuzy in his hometown . With this he played until 2003 before he moved to the youth team of Kaszubia Kościerzyna - and another year later in the MSP Szamotuły . From 2004 Gostomski began to play in the men's area. For two years he was initially active for the two amateur clubs Uran Trzebicz and Sokół Pniewy . In 2006 KP Legia Warsaw signed him. For the capital club, he stayed in the Ekstraklasa for the next four years . From 2010 Gostomski was each for one year with Odra Wodzisław and Bałtyk Gdynia in goal. From the 2011/12 season he played 53 times in two seasons for the Polish third division club Bytovia Bytów . In the summer of 2013, Gostomski moved to the first division club Lech Posen . For the club he made his professional debut on the 9th day of the Ekstraklasa 2013/14 against Piast Gliwice . After 21 appearances, just as many games followed in the following 2014/15 season . The season was crowned by winning the Polish championship. After the goalkeeper had only been used twice by the end of 2015, he left the club. He then signed a contract with Glasgow Rangers from Scotland until the end of the season in January 2016 .
