The Madine is a 19 km long river in France that runs in the Grand Est region . It is a left and southwest tributary of the Rupt de Mad .

The Madine rises in the local area of Varnéville and generally drains in a north-easterly direction through the Lorraine Regional Nature Park . It forms the small reservoir Étang de la Perche , and immediately afterwards the Lac de Madine , which is heavily used for leisure activities, and after a total of around 19 kilometers flows into the Rupt de Mad as a left tributary in the municipality of Bouillonville . On its way the Madine crosses the departments of Meuse and Meurthe-et-Moselle .
