Madison Wolfe

Madison Wolfe (born October 16, 2002 in Metairie , Louisiana ) is an American actress . She is best known for her role in the films Trumbo and Joy and for portraying Janet Hodgson in James Wan's horror film Conjuring 2 .

Life

Madison Wolfe made her acting debut in 2012 in the films On the Road and The Agony of Choice . She played Brittany in the 2013 horror film Devil's Due . She also played a few supporting roles in the television series True Detective , The Astronaut Wives Club , Scream and Zoo . In 2015 she took on supporting roles in the films Trumbo and Joy - Anything but Ordinary .

In 2016 she can be seen in the comedy film Keanu as Alexis and in the horror film Conjuring 2 by James Wan in the role of Janet Hodgson . She also took on the lead role of Barbara Thorson in the comic book adaptation I Kill Giants , directed by director Anders Walter , opposite Zoe Saldana . She was selected for the role in a nationwide search among 500 young actresses. The film was produced by Chris Columbus , among others , and is based on the comic of the same name by Joe Kelly , who also wrote the script himself.

Wolfe lives in New Orleans , has graduated from middle school and is now attending high school . She has a younger sister named Meghan who is also an actress.
