Career

Schnurr started on February 8, 2005 in Schönwald for the first time at a ladies COC . With the exception of a few jumping competitions in Austria, until 2008 she was only used in jumping competitions in Germany and was placed in the middle of the field. When jumping in Bischofsgrün on August 12, 2007 she achieved her first top ten placement with an eighth place. After she achieved a sixth place at the beginning of 2008 in Toblach, Italy , she was able to achieve a place in the top ten in all the remaining competitions of the 2007/08 season in which she participated. With a second place on February 23, 2008 in Schönwald, she achieved her first podium in a COC competition. At the German championship on August 2nd, 2008 in Oberhof , Schnurr was completely surprisingly German champion, one day later she was able to win the team competition together with her club mate Melanie Faißt . Above all, it was high posture grades that were responsible for their good performance. The one week later, on August 10th in Bischofsgrün and on August 13th in Pöhla , she was also able to win the opening competition for the summer COC 2008. She continued to be successful in the winter of 2008/09. After showing somewhat fluctuating performance at the beginning of the season, she was able to improve and in January 2009 won a victory in Ljubno, Slovenia. On February 6, 2009, she won the gold medal at the Junior World Championships in Štrbské Pleso, Slovakia , just 0.5 points ahead of her teammate Anna Häfele .

Schnurr lives in Bühlertal and has three siblings.
