Magdeburgerforth is a nature reserve in the town of Möckern in the Jerichower Land district in Saxony-Anhalt .

The nature reserve with the registration number NSG 0018 is 127.08  hectares . It is part of the FFH area "Ringelsdorfer-, Gloine- and Dreibachsystem im Vorfläming". The area has been under protection since May 1, 1961 (date of regulation: March 30, 1961). 101.24 hectares are designated as a total reserve and reserved for natural development. The responsible lower nature conservation authority is the district of Jerichower Land.

The nature reserve is located southeast of Genthiner hamlet Schopsdorf . It places a forest area in the Burg-Ziesarer Vorfläming under protection. This is dominated by pipe grass-birch-oak forest with blueberry and bracken. Furthermore, alder-ash forest and along the brooks Winkelseggen-ash forest can be found. Bird cherry-ash forest occurs on a small scale. Spring bog areas are occupied by Walzenseggen-Erlenbruchwald with king fern and swamp calla and bog birch-alder forest with peat moss and German honeysuckle and bell heather or swamp porst and sprouting bear moss.

In a few damp locations, beech and oak-hornbeam forests grow thick with shadow flowers , star chickweed and rennet . Coniferous forests are also included in the nature reserve to a small extent.

In the nature reserve, for example, hawk, honey buzzard, black woodpecker, stock dove, woodcock and wood warbler are native.

Further forests adjoin to the south and east, while the nature reserve borders on agricultural areas in the north and west .
