Ringelsdorf is a nature reserve in the towns of Möckern and Genthin in the Jerichower Land district in Saxony-Anhalt .

The nature reserve with the registration number NSG 0145 is around 157  hectares . It is part of the FFH area “Ringelsdorfer-, Gloine- and Dreibachsystem im Vorfläming” and surrounded by the landscape protection area “Möckern-Magdeburgerforth”. The area has been under protection since 1999 (date of regulation: October 14, 1994). The responsible lower nature conservation authority is the district of Jerichower Land.

The nature reserve is located southeast of Burg and west of Ziesar, directly north of Federal Motorway 2 . It places a wetland with wet forests and wet grassland under protection. Thus, alder forests , birch-pine-swamp forests and damp oak-hornbeam forests and treeless areas with reeds reeds and find bins rich wet meadows. Occasionally there are peat areas with peat moss .

The area is traversed by the Ringelsdorfer Bach with several tributaries and ditches. The streams are habitat for brown trout , brook loach , the three-spined stickleback and the nine-spined stickleback as well as various dragonflies , including blue-winged demoiselle , banded demoiselle , little pitch dragonfly , little blue arrow and two-striped spring damsel . The nature reserve is also a habitat for crane, osprey and other birds of prey.

The Klopfsdorf castle wall, a historic castle wall protected as a ground monument , is located within the nature reserve. To the east of the protected area is the "Wetterstein", a boulder from the Warta period .

The nature reserve is mostly surrounded by forests.
