Maggy Domschke

Gabriele "Maggy" Domschke (born April 4, 1958 in Dresden ; † September 27, 2014 ) was a German actress .

Life

Maggy Domschke was trained from 1976 to 1979 at the State Drama School in Rostock . She then had several engagements at various theaters, including Magdeburg , Erfurt and the Berliner Ensemble . In the RTL comedy series How was I, Doris? In 1999 she embodied the role of the then CDU Secretary General Angela Merkel . Her other roles were mostly secondary characters or extras. In the children's series An Angel for Everyone , she played the role of the housekeeper Margarethe Werner as the main character.

She became known to a larger audience in 2008 through a WWK insurance commercial in which she portrayed a teacher who is being bullied by her class.

She died in 2014 after a long illness at the age of 56.
