The Magieurs is a river in France that runs in the Allier department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region . It rises on the eastern outskirts of Treignat , drains generally in a north-easterly direction through the Bocage Bourbonnais landscape and flows into the Cher after 27 kilometers in the municipality of Vaux as a left tributary . Just before the estuary, it crosses under the Canal de Berry, which runs parallel to the Cher, with the help of a canal bridge . Today the former shipping canal is no longer in operation.
