Maidie Norman (born October 16, 1912 in Villa Rica , Georgia , USA; † May 2, 1998 in San Jose , California , USA) was an American actress .

Career

In 1947, Norman made her film debut and soon played alongside world stars such as Ginger Rogers , William Holden , Dean Martin , Barbara Stanwyck and Dorothy Lamour . From the 1960s she was seen almost exclusively in television productions. In 1962, Maidie Norman had another big hit alongside Bette Davis and Joan Crawford in the horror film What Really Happened To Baby Jane? . In the late 1980s, she retired from acting.

Maidie Norman was married twice and had one son. She died of lung cancer in 1998 .
