Manfred Ach (politician)

Manfred Oh (* 14. September 1940 in Ansbach , Middle Franconia ) is a German politician of the CSU . From 1994 to 2008 he was a member of the Bavarian State Parliament .

Career

After passing his secondary school leaving certificate from 1957 to 1961, Manfred Ach did an apprenticeship for the higher non-technical administrative service at the Würzburg pension office . From 1962 to 1966 he worked at the Nuremberg pension office . He then worked at the Bavarian State Supply Office in Munich from 1966 to 1970 , before moving to the State Audit Office in Würzburg in 1970. From 1991 to 1994 he was head of this authority; now as senior councilor in higher administrative service (since 1989).

Ach has been a member of the CSU since May 1962. Later he was elected deputy CSU district chairman for the district association Würzburg-Land. From 1978 to 2000 he was a local councilor from 1978 to 2008 a district councilor, from 1990 to 2002 chairman of the CSU district parliamentary group.

While he was a member of the Bavarian State Parliament, Ach was a member of the State Budget and Financial Affairs Committee from 1994, which he chaired from 1998 to 2008. He was also a member of the Committee on Social, Health and Family Policy from 1994 to 1998 and of the Intermediate Committee from 1998 to 2003 . He was a member of the Presidium of the Bavarian State Parliament and of the CSU parliamentary group. He was no longer available as a candidate for the state elections in Bavaria in 2008 .

Ach was president of the North Bavarian Music Association from 2003 to 2009 .
