Manfred Kindel (pseudonym Unmada , * 1954 in Empelde ) is a German composer, author, interpreter, singer, children's choir director and teacher .

Life

Manfred Kindel grew Ronnenberger district Empelde on and completed after graduating from high school to community service . After an internship abroad at the Het Zilveren Schor education center in Arnemuiden in the Netherlands , he studied pedagogy at the University of Hanover from 1975 to 1981 with a focus on extracurricular youth and adult education . During his studies Kindel performed as a street musician with the group Atomic Musicians in Hanover , was involved as an activist in the "Independent Youth Center Movement" and was an honorary member of the board of the Independent Youth Center in Kornstrasse until 1981 .

After successfully completing his studies, Kindel headed the tea room in the drug advice center drobs in Hanover from 1981 and then lived and worked from 1984 to 1986 in the " Osho Communes" in Hanover, Hamburg and Oregon ( USA ).

Back in Hanover, Kindel worked from 1986 to 1988 as a sex educator at Pro Familia , the Lower Saxony state association. At the same time, Kindel played at the children's music theater energie-Theater in Hanover from 1986 to 1993 , and by 1991 he completed a part-time course in musical rhythm at the Remscheid Academy . In 1990 he also founded the company UNiKUM MUSIK, music production and distribution , through which he published CDs with children's songs he composed and interpreted himself.

Accompanied by several advanced training courses in the field of "Music for Children", Manfred Kindel appeared as a musician and actor at the Marmelock puppet theater in 1994 , took part in the UNICEF "Maschsee Pirates" campaign in 1995 and initiated the Children's Forest in Hanover in 1996, where he started the Children's forest choir conducted. In 1997 and 1998 Kindel composed and directed the musical The Five Demons in line with Agenda 21 . Also in 1998, Kindel co-founded the website kindermusik.de , which provides information about the activities of various children's song makers and activities, particularly in Germany .

In 1999, Manfred Kindel initiated the first summer camp on a seven-hectare site in the north-west of Hanover near the Mecklenheider Forest , which was officially designated as a children's forest in 2000. Also in 2000, Kindel initiated the Ene mene music participation festival .

In 2001 he initiated the Masala children's caravan , in 2002 he founded the children's cultural association Alles Banane eV, which in the same year organized the first Alles Banana children's song festival. In 2003 Kindel wrote the anthem for the Reading Is Fun campaign . Since 2005 Kindel has been offering musical training courses nationwide in cooperation with Kein Tag ohne Musik . Also in 2005 he carried out the project Everyone is different at the Selma Lagerlöf School , a school for intellectual development . In 2008 he appeared in Bonn at the UN Nature Conservation Conference .

In 2009 Kindel started the initiative “ German Sign Language DGS in Children's Songs”; has worked at the Come Together Song Festival in Bad Belzig since 2010 and in 2011 carried out a first theater and music project on the subject of Indians at the “St. Vinzenz Family Center”. The musical project LINIE 100 followed in 2012 and 2013 .

In 2013 Kindel was increasingly involved in integration and inclusion projects and participated in various sign language workshops at chor.com as well as at the 4th children's song congress . From the same year Manfred Kindel took over the patronage of the Linden-Süd project - a district and its cultural ambassadors .

Awards
