action

Jai Tilak belongs to the north Indian Rajput caste and is a farmer by profession. His loyalty to the Maharaja is a thorn in the side of his children, the Cadillac-driving Prince Shamsher Singh and the proud Princess Rajshree.

In a solemn competition, Jai takes on Shamsher and attracts the attention of the beautiful but proud Rajshree.

When Shamsher wants to overthrow his father, the Maharaja, because he does not see him as heir to the throne and prefers democracy, the Maharaja flees to England . Meanwhile, Jai tries to " tame " Rajshree and win her love. This in turn is a thorn in the side of the farmer and Jai's childhood friend Mangala, who has long been in love with him.

Shamsher, who is interested in Mangala, kidnaps her and keeps her prisoner. But Mangala cannot take this for long and ends her life with a bottle of poison.

In retaliation, Jai kidnaps the princess. And indeed Rajshree lets himself be tamed and falls in love with Jai.

To everyone's surprise comes the news that the Maharaja is still alive. Now Jai, Rajshree and the whole Rajput people bring the old king back to the throne by defeating Shamsher.
