Manuel Müller (born May 31, 1989 in Kempten (Allgäu) ) is a former German biathlete .

Manuel Müller, who starts for SC Oberstdorf , started cross-country skiing at the age of six. After seven years of cross-country skiing, the then 13-year-old began biathlon in Nesselwang under Manfred Rauscher , who had already trained Michael Greis . From the beginning, Manuel Müller was able to record successes in the German School Cup series . In the overall ranking of the German Student Cup S14 and S15, Müller came second. He has been part of the customs ski team since August 2008 . He is trained by Bernhard Kröll and, since 2010, by Andreas Stitzl as the successor to Engelbert Sklorz , his training colleagues include Magdalena Neuner , Miriam Gössner and formerly Martina Beck . From the youth / junior world championships in Ruhpolding in 2008 until March 2010, Manuel Müller was a member of the C-team of the German Ski Association. Manuel Müller has been a member of the DSV (German Ski Association) B team since April 2010 and is therefore part of the IBU Cup team.

At the Junior World Championships 2008 in Ruhpolding, Müller won the silver medals in the youth in the individual and in the pursuit behind the French Ludwig Ehrhart . He was able to improve from 17th place in the sprint to medal in the pursuit race. With the junior relay consisting of Schempp , Müller, Peiffer and Graf , he won the bronze medal. In 2009 he won the singles title at his only start in Canmore, Canada . In 2010 he won the pursuit title in Torsby after winning silver in the sprint behind Yevgeny Petrov . At the side of Tom Barth , Johannes Kühn and Benedikt Doll , he also won gold in the relay competition as the final runner with a faultless performance. In 2010, Müller also took part in the European Championships in Otepää . In both the sprint and the pursuit race, he finished ninth in the junior competitions. In the individual, Müller was used in the seniors and ran into eighth place.

In 2013 Müller ended his career in biathlon management and emigrated to Norway . He lives with his wife in Tønsberg in the south of the country.
