Marc Philipp (born February 20, 1986 in Bochum ) is a German actor , voice actor , presenter and dentist .

Career

He completed his training as an actor from 2007 to 2009 at the Film Acting School in Cologne . He financed this, in addition to the support of his parents, through gastronomic part-time jobs and as a photo model . Even before his apprenticeship, Philipp made several short films and had private acting lessons. From 2009 to 2010 he worked with the film director , screenwriter and producer Marco Kreuzpaintner and gained his first experience in scenic film work. In 2010 he completed acting training with Nick Dong-Sick.

Philipp worked in several television productions, including as a supporting actor in the daily soap Unter Uns . He also worked as a voice actor and presenter. From 2010 to June 2011 he was seen in the ARD early evening series Marienhof , in which he played the leading role of Dino Maldini as the third actor after Gabriel Andrade and Jonathan Sonnenschein and thus became known to a wider audience. After an extra role (2007) and an episode role (2008), he took over as Spaniard Rafael Velasquez in July and from November to December 2011 an episode lead role in the daily soap Verbotene Liebe .

In 2012 he shot a. a. a commercial in New York for the campaign Yes, I'll book through a travel agent! and played alongside Axel Prahl in the ARD feature film Million Dollar Race . In 2013 Philipp u. a. with Claude Oliver Rudolph , Uwe Rohde and Uwe Fellensiek for the graduation film Kreuzungen . In 2014 he shot the comedy Stadtlandliebe for Warner Bros. with director Marco Kreuzpainter alongside Uwe Ochsenknecht , Tom Beck and Jessica Schwarz .

In addition to filming, he also studied dentistry at the University of Regensburg , where he is currently doing his doctorate. He is writing his dissertation for FIFA . which the Regensburger Wochenblatt and the Bavarian Zahnärzteblatt reported on. At the end of 2018 he passed his exam and now also works as a dentist in a practice in Bochum.

Due to his footballing talent, Philipp regularly plays in charity football matches, and from 2014 to 2018 he even played for FC Bayern Munich Seniors. In 2012 he took first place in the “Schalke hilft” celebrity trotting race, and in 2013 he won the title again at Schalke.

Marc Philipp speaks fluent English and Italian in addition to his mother tongue. He currently lives in Bochum.
