Marc Sandorf

Marc Sandorf (born September 21, 1964 in Los Angeles ), actually Marc Gabler , is a German pop singer .

Life

Private

Sandorf, the son of Germans in Los Angeles, lived in the United States until he was three . Until he was 18, Sandorf was also a US citizen. After his parents returned to Germany, he grew up in Erlangen in Central Franconia , where he also attended school. After graduating from secondary school, he trained as a physiotherapist , masseur and medical pool attendant from 1981 to 1984 .

Sandorf is the owner of his own practice for physiotherapy in Hagenau (as of March 2019). He has two sons and lives in Baiersdorf .

Career

Sandorf initially worked as a dressman for men's outfitters. In 1987 he was discovered by the talent scout Erika Krug. In the same year he was named “Mr.” in a model competition, a forerunner of today's Mister Germany elections. Germany "was chosen.

His first single with the title "And sweet kisses for dessert" was released in 1990. Between 1990 and 2001 he released several singles and maxi CDs . With the title “Sweet Mambo Girl” he reached second place in the “Deutsche Schlagerparade”.

At Stars for UNICEF 1995 he worked alongside u. a. Olaf Berger , Cindy & Bert , Dagmar Frederic and Karat as singers in the project with “I'll light a candle for you”.

2001 Sandorf gave up his hit career. He worked as a physiotherapist and built his own professional independence. In October 2016 he made his comeback as a pop singer with his own titles and songs by Michael Holm from the 1970s at a regional performance in Höchstadt an der Aisch . In January 2017 his track “You never catch the wind” was published as an MP3 download, followed in the same year by “Queen of the Night” and “Winter in Canada”. His album “Feel Your Heart” was released in spring 2018. Since June 2019 Marc Sandorf has also been active in a duo with Alexander Grafenberg with the common song "Tequila und Dolce Vita".
