Marcel Zeller
Marcel Zeller (* 13. August 1973 in Essen ; † 25. November 2016 in Frankfurt am Main ) was a German boxer in the heavyweight division . He always fought in a kilt , which earned him the nickname "Highlander".
career
Marcel Zeller made his professional debut on February 8, 2003 in Karlsruhe . In the course of his career he played 40 fights in Germany, the Czech Republic , Portugal , England , Switzerland , Turkey , Bosnia and Latvia , of which he won 24, 23 of them prematurely and 16 lost. He was among others opponents of Cengiz Koç , Steffen Kretschmann , Tyson Fury , Edmund Gerber , Johnathon Banks , Erkan Teper and Enad Licina . His last fight was on February 13, 2016.
