Marcos Vinícius de Jesus Araújo , called Marcos Vinícius , (born December 26, 1994 in Marabá , Pará ) is a Brazilian football player .

Career

Marcos Vinícius began his football training at the Corinthians Club in São Paulo and at EC Bahia from Salvador . He completed this with Náutico Capibaribe from Recife . Here he made the leap into the professional squad in 2011. In 2014 he went on loan to the Cruzeiro EC from Belo Horizonte . In April 2015, Cruzeiro acquired 50% of the transfer rights in the player. Due to a muscle injury in the spring of 2016, he only returned to occasional missions during the season from August 5th. Muscular problems returned just a month later and he was absent for another two months. For the 2017 championship season , Vinícius was loaned to the Botafogo FR in Rio de Janeiro . A period of three years was agreed. In return, the player Sassá was loaned to Cruzeiro by Botafogo until 2021.
