Bruno dos Santos Nazário (born February 9, 1995 in Cascavel ) is a Brazilian soccer player. He has been with TSG 1899 Hoffenheim since 2013 , but has not been part of the squad there since 2014. Numerous successive loan positions followed, currently in his home country at Botafogo FR .

Career

Bruno Nazário was trained in the youth department of the Brazilian club Figueirense FC . He gained his first professional experience in 2012 as a 17-year-old in Série A , when he made his first four competitive appearances. He was on the field for the first time on November 3, 2012 in a game against Flamengo Rio de Janeiro . However, the season ended the team on a relegation zone and rose to the second division. In May 2013 he dissolved his existing contract with Figueirense and joined FC Tombense .

A few days later, on May 27, 2013, it was awarded to the second division team América Mineiro . About a month later he made his official debut for his new club. Shortly after his move, the first rumors surfaced that Nazário might move to Europe. Parma FC was named as a possible buyer .

On August 22, 2013, Nazário moved to the Bundesliga for TSG 1899 Hoffenheim . On October 26, he was in the squad for the first time in a Bundesliga game, but was not allowed to come on because the sponsor SAP logo was missing on his jersey. Only when he came on as a substitute for the game against Borussia Dortmund on matchday 33 did he make his Bundesliga debut perfect.

In August 2014 Nazário, together with Filip Malbašić , was loaned to the Polish first division club Lechia Gdańsk until the end of the 2014/15 season. The loan was then extended for one season.

At the beginning of January 2016, Nazário was loaned to Cruzeiro Belo Horizonte and in January 2017 to Guarani FC .

In July 2018, Nazário was awarded to Athletico Paranaense until December 31, 2019 . At the same time, his contract with TSG 1899 Hoffenheim was extended to June 30, 2021. With only two appearances as reserve player, Nazário celebrated winning the Copa Sudamericana 2018 title on December 12, 2018 . By the end of 2019 Nazário came up with 23 appearances in the Series A .

In January 2020, Nazário extended his contract with TSG 1899 Hoffenheim until June 30, 2022 and switched to Botafogo FR on loan until December 31, 2020 .
