Marcus Hesse (born March 22, 1984 in Dresden ) is a German soccer goalkeeper .

Career

Marcus Hesse came to Alemannia Aachen in 2001 as a 17-year-old junior goalkeeper through the stations SG Dresden Striesen , Dresdner SC and FV Dresden-Nord .

There he was part of the club's youth team at the beginning, before joining the amateurs in 2003. There Hesse shone with strong game and training performances. With the Alemannia Reserve he was in the 2003/04 season champion of the association league Mittelrhein and made it to the Oberliga Nordrhein . In 2004 he rose to the second division squad under the then coach Dieter Hecking .

The goalkeeper talent was equipped with a professional contract and third goalkeeper of Aachen. Until 2006 Hesse was only used in the second team in the major league . After Aachen's number 1 Stephan Straub was injured in the 2006/07 Bundesliga year and then lost two games in a row 0: 4 in the end of the season and Kristian did not get sick on the penultimate match day , Marcus Hesse took over on the last two match days the position of the number 1 in the gate.

From the 2007/08 season Hesse played again in his hometown for Dynamo Dresden in the Regionalliga Nord . During the 2008/09 season he fell out of favor under coach Ruud Kaiser and left the club at the end of the season.

In preparation for the 2009/10 season, he trained with his youth club Dresdner SC to keep fit . In the 2010/11 season, Hesse ran for Heidenauer SV in the Landesliga Sachsen . In summer 2011 he switched to SC Borea Dresden . After the Borea league team withdrew, Hesse moved to the Central Saxon District League for TSV Stahl Riesa in October . For the 2012/13 season he joined the Regionalliga-Nord promoted VfR Neumünster . Hesse signed a contract with VfR until 2014.

After his contract expired, Hesse moved to BSG Stahl Riesa in the Sachsenliga in summer 2014 . He stayed there for the next six years, serving as a coach for the last two seasons before joining the Sachsenliga promoted FV Dresden 06 Laubegast for the 2020/21 season. There he is active as a goalkeeping coach. Hesse lives in Laubegast and works in online marketing.
