Maria Luise Teubner

Maria Luise Teubner (born November 3, 1951 in Ratingen , Düsseldorf-Mettmann district ) is a German politician (Die Grünen, from October 4, 1990 Alliance 90 / The Greens ) and a retired student councilor . D. From 1987 to 1990 she was a member of the German Bundestag for the 11th electoral term.

Life

After graduating from the Geschwister-Scholl-Gymnasium in Ratingen in 1970, Maria Luise Teubner studied sociology , philosophy , German studies and history at the Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg from 1970 to 1975 . In 1975 she completed the state examination in German and history. From 1976 to 1977 she did a traineeship at the commercial schools in Lahr . She found a job there in 1977 and since then - with the exception of her time as a member of the Bundestag from 1987 to 1990 - has worked in the subjects of German, history and social studies in the integrated vocational high school, currently as a senior teacher.

The non-denominational single high school teacher joined the Association for the Environment and Nature Conservation Germany eV (BUND) in Lahr . She is also a member of the Society for Threatened Peoples (STP) and the Education and Science Union (GEW) .

She lives in Friesenheim (Baden) .

Political career

In April 1984 Maria Luise Teubner became a member of the Green Party. In the same year it was set up for the Lahr municipal council. After winning the election, she was a council member and parliamentary group spokeswoman for her party from December 1984 .

In the federal election on January 25, 1987 , she was elected to the German Bundestag via the Baden-Württemberg state list . With the opening session of the 11th German Bundestag on February 18, 1987, she left her office in the municipal council.

As a member of the Bundestag, she was involved in a very wide range of topics, from transport to health and economic policy. From January 15, 1990 she was deputy parliamentary manager of the group of the Greens. Her mandate ended on December 20, 1990.
