Maria Mallé

Maria Mallé (born March 2, 1947 in Carinthia ) is an Austrian-German actress, singer, musical artist, diseuse and entertainer.

life and work

Mallé grew up near Frankfurt / Oder in the GDR. At the age of 20 she became a member of the ensemble of the Berlin cabaret “ Die Distel ”, and as Julie she made her breakthrough in the musical “Showboat” at the Berlin Metropol Theater . Here she played and sang almost all roles in her field in 25 years. She gained fame with her interpretation of Sally Bowles in "Cabaret" or the title role in "Hallo, Dolly!".

She also appeared in the Deutsche Staatsoper Berlin, the Schauspielhaus am Gendarmenmarkt , the Admiralspalast , the Friedrichstadtpalast, the Berlin Tempodrom and the Theater am Kurfürstendamm, where she appeared on stage in two productions as a partner of Walter Plathe . She played Claire Waldoff in the film "Claire Berolina", which was shot on the occasion of the city's 750th anniversary .

She worked on television, radio and record productions. Guest tours have taken her to German cities, Austria (including the Austrian premiere of “Inkheart”), Italy, France and the USA.
