Maria Wiederer

Maria Wiederer (born January 9, 1922 in Neuhausen as Maria Hummel ; † September 9, 2006 in Lindach near Kolitzheim ) was a German farmer and politician ( CSU ).

Life

Maria Wiederer attended elementary school in Neuhausen. Maria then attended the agricultural vocational school and did an apprenticeship as an agriculture and home economics teacher. After taking the final exam, she attended a country women’s school and a farm school.

On April 26, 1946, Maria married her husband Roman Wiederer in the St. Antonius Church in Lindach in Lower Franconia .

In 1946 she started her own farm, growing fruit and vegetables. She was a farmer for the Bavarian Farmers' Association in the Lower Franconia district association and was a member of the state assembly of the BBV.

Again in 1952 he was elected to the district assembly of Gerolzhofen . In the district association of the CSU she was chairman of the women's working group. On June 21, 1967, she replaced the deceased Emil Mergler in the Bavarian state parliament, to which she was a member until 1978. In 1974 she was directly elected in the constituency of Schweinfurt-Süd . At the end of 1980 she moved into the Bavarian Senate , where she represented the agriculture and forestry group until 1987.

Maria and Roman Wiederer have four children together, three sons and a daughter.
