She was 15 when coach Farid Benstiti made her debut in PSG's first division team - and even in the starting lineup; In this game against AF Rodez , the 1.76 m attacking tip was also successful as a goalscorer. In the following season (2015/16) , despite strong competition, for example from the experienced Marie-Laure Delie , Rosana or Anja Mittag , she already completed seven point games with the first women of the capital club and scored three goals. She has also played three Champions League games during these two seasons ; including a brief appearance in the semi-final second leg against VfL Wolfsburg in April 2015. In the national team

Marie-Antoinette Katoto was part of the French B youth selection from the 2013/14 season, for which she has scored ten goals in eleven international matches. With the French she also took part in the U-17 European Championship in 2015 , in which France failed in the semifinals after penalties to Spain. Since April 2016, the then 17-year-old has also been included in France's U-18 / U-19 selection. So far, she has played eight games there with just as many hits, with the youngest player in the French squad scoring six goals in five games in the final round of the 2016 European Championships , becoming the top scorer and thus a key factor in winning the title (a 2 : 1 win against their Spanish peers).

In the senior team Katoto was not initially appointed as national coach Corinne Diacre 21 coach subway to the Gilles Eyquem had agreed to France's junior up to and including the U-20 World Cup in Germany is exclusively available. This tournament in August 2018 was very disappointing for Katoto. In six games she was only used four times, only the first two group games as a member of the starting line-up, and she did not score any of the ten French goals. Two months later, Diacre nominated them for the first time on the occasion of a friendly against Brazil , in which Katoto was also used for around 30 minutes. In her second game, in which she came on as a substitute against the USA again only in the second half, she scored her first goal for the Bleues , and then played the full time against Germany . Before the USA game, Diacre had criticized the striker, who was highly successful in the league, in unusually clear words: “I'll give her more time, but she has to finally clarify what she wants. What I saw of her [at this training camp] is absolutely not enough to qualify for a regular place. ” In April 2019, however, she was only considered in the B-Eleven and was then not included in the French 23-man squad for the 2019 World Cup taken into account in their own country . This decision to forego the by far most accurate goalscorer in the current first division season , occupied the media immediately after the announcement. The trainer justified her decision with the statement that it was a difficult weighing process and that Katoto had “enormous potential, but she still has her future ahead of her. From my point of view, she still lacks the final readiness to prevail against strong opponents. ” In October, Diacre brought her back to their squad for two matches, replacing them in the final stages. In her twenty minutes of play at the European Championship qualification game in Kazakhstan , Marie-Antoinette Katoto developed into a deciding figure: first, she enabled Eugénie Le Sommer to make it 2-0 with a precise pass, before she headed the 3-0 final score. In the following qualifying game against Serbia , she scored a header just a few minutes after being substituted on for Valérie Gauvin at half-time .

Katoto currently has nine A appearances and three hits. (As of March 10, 2020)
