Marie-Cécile Gros-Gaudenier (born June 18, 1960 in Scionzier ) is a former ski racer. The French - Swiss dual citizen started for her native France.
biography
As an outsider, she started 1981/82 in the downhill -Weltcupsaison, in the end she was allowed to receive the Crystal Globe for the downhill World Cup. Doris De Agostini (SUI), World Champion Gerry Sorensen (CAN) and Holly Flanders (USA), they all won two races, but the victory in the Downhill World Cup went to Gros-Gaudenier, who at the beginning of the season in Saalbach-Hinterglemm on 18. December 1981.
At the 1982 World Championships in Schladming / Haus im Ennstal (AUT) she came 11th, and at the 1985 World Championships in Bormio / Santa Caterina Valfurva (ITA) she came 14th.
Her career was marked by many injuries. The victory in the Downhill World Cup in 1982 was the highlight of her career. In 1982 and 1984 she was French downhill champion.
